Fees/Waiting List

Child care fees are determined by total family income and are based on a sliding scale. The demand for child care services continues to grow, so it is recommended that personnel needing child care register their children on the wait list. Complete the Request for Care by using the web link.

The CDC also offers hourly care. Hourly Care can be used for any reason including: tending to personal needs, medical appointments, tending to emergency situations, etc. Hourly care is available on a first-come first-serve basis. On a regular basis, parents may not use hourly care in excess of 25 hours per week. A 24 hour advance notice to reserve hourly care space is needed. Parents may make a reservation for child care up to 30 days in advance. Hourly Care fee is $4.00 per hour per child; $4.00 per hour per child for medical appointments and FFSC appointments/class. Call the CDC for more information at 559-998-4918.

Child Development Homes Program (CDH)

The Child Development Homes (CDH) Program offer quality care in a loving, learning home environment for ages 6 weeks to 12 years. CDH is comprised of approximately 55 homes that offer home based child care on a full-time, part-time, shift work and drop-in care needs. Our CDH Providers are qualified professionals operating as independent businesses within the NAS Lemoore housing community. The CDH Program recruits, trains, certifies and monitors the CDH Providers to ensure quality child care services. CDH Program is an extension of the CDC offering a variety of childcare services to meet the unique needs of the military schedule. The flexible hours, low child-to-adult ratios and convenient locations make this a viable option for families whose normal workday is anything but normal. Parents needing CDH care will need to contact the CEWL Coordinator at 559-998-4099.

The CDH Program office is located in Building 965 Franklin Avenue and can be reached by calling 559-998-4570/3260. Hours of Operation are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

School-Age Care (SAC)

During the summer months the Youth Services SAC program provides a weekly summer camp program.  Parents may choose which weeks to sign their children up without obligating for the entire summer. Each week includes an off base field trip to local sites and attractions such as Fresno Zoo or the big water park in Clovis, and includes many on base activities such as swimming, bowling, and the theater. All such activities are included in the weekly fee. Fees are based on total family income and is on a sliding scale.
