Legal Assistance
Assistance is provided on a walk in basis on Mondays from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. and Fridays from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. We provide informational pages titled Legal Lines on a whole host of legal topics at the Legal Office. The Air Force has also instituted a legal assistance website to aid in obtaining legal assistance. Call 501-987-7886 for more information.
Powers of Attorney and Notary Services
Walk-in service (no appointment necessary) is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm and on Wednesday 8:00 am - 2;30 pm. The legal assistance website also aids in helping to prepare Powers of Attorney prior to coming into the office. This website can be accessed on any public computer; all you would need to have is your ticket number when coming to the Legal Office to receive your Power of Attorney.
Will Executions
Wills are provided on an appointment basis only and are drafted and executed in a single appointment. Appointments are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. The will worksheet is available on the legal assistance website, just ensure that you bring in the ticket number which is located at the end of the questionnaire. Couples are welcome to have an appointment together, just keep in mind that you will be slotted for a two hour window and will require two separate will worksheets and ticket numbers.
