*Los Angeles AFB has a wide variety of events scheduled throughout the year. Services Division offers many activities at the Fort MacArthur Community Center (New Year's Eve Party, Brunch on Easter and Mother's Day, and a Fourth of July Bash, to name a few). Outdoor Recreation has equipment for skiing, camping and boating. Discounted tickets for many off-base activities are available at the Information, Tickets & Tours office in the Community Center. Services Division publishes a monthly calendar of events, available at locations throughout the base. The Chaplain, Airman & Family Readiness Center (formerly the Family Support Center), Health and Wellness and other organizations also plan activities for singles and families. All active duty military and their dependents, along with retirees, DoD civilians and Aerospace employees are authorized to experience the many physical fitness, instructional and leisure time activities.
