Availability
Navy Lodge -- 401-849-4500, Fax 401-841-1807 - Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Each unit is adequate for a family of 5 and arrangements for 5 units side-by-side can be made. Each unit is equipped with a full kitchenette. First priority is for Navy personnel with families and Marine Corps personnel with families arriving or departing on PCS orders. Rate is $75.00 per night.
Navy Gateway Inns and Suites -- 401-841-7900, FAX 401-841-7577 - ADA rooms available. Private room/private bath. Cable TV/DVR, phone, clock radio, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, micro-fridge and hair dryer. Rate is up to $76 per night. First priority is for military/civilian personnel on TAD orders. Rooms are also available when space permits for leisure travel 30 days prior to arrival.
Newport Chalet -- 401-841-0800, on orders call 401-841-7900 - Open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. On orders room rate is $83.61 inc. tax per night. No orders rate determined by Chalet management. ADA rooms available. Private room/private bath. Cable TV/DVR, phone, clock radio, iron/ironing board, coffee maker, micro-fridge and hair dryer. First priority is for military/civilian personnel on TAD orders. Rooms are also available when space permits for leisure travel 7 days prior to arrival.
Pets
The Navy Lodge has a limited number of rooms where they allow pets. There is a $50.00 per stay charge. You must have current shot records for the pet and it must be crated when you are not in the room.
Navy Gateway Inns and Suites and Newport Chalet - NO PETS.
Base Facilities
All facilities are within walking distance to the Navy Exchange, Commissary, Fitness Center, Officers' and Enlisted Clubs.
Transportation
Public transportation is easy walking distance outside of Gate 1. There is also a bus stop outside the Navy Health Clinic New England Gate.
