- Travel Planning
- Lodging accommodations are not available at Schriever AFB. Personnel assign to Schriever AFB may utilize lodging located on Peterson AFB. Personnel assigned to Schriever utilize lodging located on Peterson AFB. To check availability and to make reservations call 719-556-6293 or DSN 312-834-6293.
- Reporting Procedures
- During normal duty hours personnel assigned to Schriever AFB must report to the Military Personnel Section Center located in Bldg 210. The MPS provides service in support of career enhancement, personnel relocation, personnel employment, retirement, promotions, and separations.
- If you get Married Enroute
- If you get married before you PCS, you must inform your commander and follow the procedures exactly as you are given them. The military will not pay for travel and housing of your spouse if you do not follow proper procedures
- Remember, if you get married before you PCS stop by the MPF to enroll your spouse in DEERS, obtain a dependant ID card and have your orders updated as needed. If you get married en route, then stop by the nearest military installations MPF. They will assist you in getting your spouse into the DEERS system, obtaining an ID card and getting your orders amended.
