Legal Services
The office of the staff judge advocate is located in Suite 203 of Bldg. 509 on Spirit Boulevard. Services offered daily through the legal assistance program include notary services and preparation of powers of attorney, wills, bills of sale, promissory notes, vehicle registration, state and federal taxation, domestic relations and other legal matters.
Claims assistance is available for people with household goods loss and damage claims. Active-duty members and their families, and retired military members and their families, are eligible for these services.
Legal assistance is available during normal duty hours at the base Legal Office. Walk-ins are always welcome.
If there is an issue that the Legal Office cannot assist you with, there are many local area lawyers who are well versed in military issues and work very well with our base Legal Office. Because there are so many in the local area, we suggest that you talk to someone who can give you a referral as well as look in the Yellow Pages.
